Wife, Mother, Hairstylist, Entrepreneur, Mentor and Beauty Business Consultant—my journey in the beauty industry spans over 25 years. From working behind the chair as a dedicated stylist to owning salon suites and leading as an industry educator and trainer, I have immersed myself in every level of this craft. Fresh out of beauty school, I started as a shampoo technician in Houston. Despite being told I wouldn’t make much money in this industry, I trusted my instincts and chose to become a student of the game—learning from the ground up. That decision placed me in a salon that catered to a celebrity clientele, where the owner became my mentor and helped shape my vision. During that time, I began to recognize the untapped potential within me, and my mindset shifted from simply building a career to creating a legacy through entrepreneurship.

As my vision expanded, I evolved into a successful salon owner, operating spaces ranging from 1,000 square feet to managing and leasing salon suites exceeding 13,000 square feet. I proudly became one of the first African American women in Harris County, Texas to manage more than 40 employees within the beauty industry. With a passion for growth and impact, I began partnering with cosmetology and barber schools, where I discovered a major gap—many graduates had exceptional talent but lacked the business foundation needed to truly succeed.

Determined to make a difference, I created pathways to bridge that gap for aspiring beauty professionals entering the real world. My academy is designed for the next generation of driven hairstylists, salon owners, and entrepreneurs. Through hands-on learning and real-world insight, students gain the tools to navigate challenges, stay ahead of industry trends, scale their businesses, and build a loyal, thriving clientele.
